CITIZENSHIP BOARD
The Citizenship Board office is governed by a
Citizenship Board consisting of five members. This office provides
services to citizens of the Muscogee (Creek) Nation of Oklahoma
or to potential citizens in giving direction or assisting in the
lineage verification process of the Muscogee (Creek) people. The
mission of this office is to verify the lineage of descendants
of persons listed on the 1906 Dawes Roll. In doing so, research
is involved in the whole aspect of attaining citizenship.
